In this new release major features focus on CAD import/export to Rhinocers 4.0 3dm file format for converting Nurbs surfaces directly into Tenso-Groups ready to be relaxed with surface pre-tension. We beleive that Rhinoceros is a software that all people interested in complex structure modelling must have in there toolbox. With the new 3dm support the hole model,steel, stay cables and membrane can be set up inside Rhino and imported into ForTen 3000 to be relaxed. After formfinding with a predefined pretension the surfaces relax to a final shape in equilibrium. The complete FEM model is ready for further non-linear load analysis or can be exported to other Fem packages.
